Job Description

We seek a qualified, well-groomed, and fluent Medical Officer for Wound and Diabetes Care (Female) to join our healthcare team of diabetes and wound care center “WOUNDERA”. The ideal candidate must hold an MBBS degree from a reputed Bangladeshi Medical College with a CCD (Certificate Course in Diabetes Care) and know about diabetes and wound management. The applicant should be tech-savvy, research-oriented, and comfortable participating in public health engagements, corporate health camps, nurse training programs, and organizing CMEs.

Key Responsibilities:

*Clinical Care for Wounds and Diabetes:

*Conduct comprehensive evaluations focusing on diabetes management and wound care.

*Diagnose and treat diabetic complications, particularly chronic wounds, and develop personalized care plans.

*Prescribe medications, wound care products, and therapies for effective treatment.

*Monitor and adjust treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes in wound healing and blood sugar control.

Patient Management:

*Maintain detailed records of patient history, wound assessments, and diabetes management.

*Educate patients on proper wound care, diabetes management, and preventive measures.

*Address patient concerns and offer guidance on long-term care for wounds and diabetes.

Wound and Diabetes Care Collaboration:

*Collaborate with specialists to ensure comprehensive care for wound and diabetes patients.

*Refer patients to specialists when needed and follow up on specialized care.

*Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions for managing complex cases.

*Public Health Engagement:

*Participate in health talk shows, social media live sessions, and solo video productions on wound and diabetes care.

*Take part in promotional photo shoots and media projects to raise healthcare awareness.

*Participate in awareness seminars and community outreach programs to promote wound care and diabetes management.

Corporate Health Camps and Seminars:

*Attend and provide medical expertise at corporate health camps and awareness seminars.

*Act as a trainer in nurse training camps, guiding wound care and diabetes management.

*Organize and contribute to Continuing Medical Education (CME) events to promote professional development within the medical community.

Emergency Response for Diabetic and Wound Complications:

*Provide immediate care in emergencies, such as diabetic crises or severe wound infections.

*Be available for on-call duties to handle urgent wound or diabetes-related cases.

Health Promotion and Education:

*Lead health education initiatives related to diabetes and wound care, with an emphasis on prevention.

*Offer training and guidance to patients, families, and healthcare professionals on effective wound and diabetes management.
