Responsibilities: -Responsible for leading the QA/QC department and related activities, Verifying all necessary inspections and tests as required. -Preparing QC procedure and WPS, PQR, WQT as per ASME IX, AWS D1.1, BS EN ISO 15614, BS EN ISO 9606, ISO 9956-3, ISO 15609-1 etc. standards and Manufacturing LPG cylinder according to DOT 4BA 240, DOT 4BW 240, ISO 22991, EN 1442 standards. -Review and Witnessing the preparation of test pieces and Destructive test and verifying compliance with appropriate standards and specification -Reviewing and performing material receiving inspection like HR Steel Coil, Electrode of MMA welding, Filler wire of SAW, TIG and MIG welding, SAW welding FLUX, Gases, Steel shot and grit, paints etc. also performing Material Traceability record as per company and client requirements utilizing the applicable standards and specifications. -Preparing inspection & test reports daily, weekly and monthly. -Inspection and development of LPG cylinder manufacturing process & Quality control of metal forming press line (300kn, 150kn & 100kn), trimming & joggling, De-greasing, welding (SMAW, SAW, TIG & MIG), Heat treatment process, Leak test, Shot blasting, Zinc coating, Electrostatic painting/powder coating & curing according with applicable standards. -Perform visual inspection of welding. Ensure the Inspection & Quality control of all NDT (X-ray,PT) and Mechanical Guide bend Test, Tensile Test, burst test, Chemical analysis of Steel, Permanent Volumetric Expansion test for LPG cylinder manufacturing. -Inspection of painting and monitoring the blasting and painting process to achieve the required Quality. Perform Painting Material Receiving Inspection also R&D of paints, Verification of Mill Certificates for compliance with Purchase Order. Make sure working environmental conditions are suitable for Painting application as per requirements. Make sure coating is applied within 4 hrs. Of blast cleaning. Inspection of surface preparation, surface cleanliness, profile check & checking abrasives, paint materials & data sheets. Checking painting thickness and paint touch up. Reviewing painting reports. Identifying coating defects during and after application of painting/coating systems -For the first time in the history of Bangladesh, Omera Cylinders Limited has started exporting LPG cylinders overseas and also I am responsible for Inspecting and Quality control of exportable cylinders.
