Financial Manager

I have achieved B. Com (Hons) in Accounting and M. Com in Accounting from Govt. Edward College, Pabna under National University.

I have 15 years of work experience in Accounts, Finance & Administration and Audit department in various private and NGO’s sector.  At present I am working as “Manager- Audit” at Diganta Sweaters Limited. Major job responsibilities are Manage and prepare the annual audit program and implement audit procedures. To conduct all types of audit & it’s properly implement and prepare the audit report and other reports as management required & submit to top management. Identify the financial risk and cost analysis and recommend.

Manage & supervise all financial and accounting activities for business operations includes Financial Planning, Fund management, Cash, Banking & Treasury management, Management of Fixed Assets & Inventory and monitor the all financial resources. Monitor and ensure all financial records comply with company policies & accounting principles and statuary rules and regulations. To preserving all accurate accounting records for future references. Assist in preparing the annual budget and review & forecasting and control & monitor the budget. Also prepare the budget variance report and revised the budget when as management required. Oversee and preserve of Books of Accounts and MIS-AIS reports on regular basis. Monitor and control the Accounts Receivable and Payable on daily basis. Prepare bank reconciliation on monthly basis. Payroll processing and transfer to individual staff members bank accounts and reconciliation. Assist in preparing financial statement and submit reports to management. Assist in preparing the necessary documentation for annual financial audits. Supervise and monitor the local procurement and Letter of Credit (LC) related matters. Also check and verify Custom duty and insurance cover note for import stage. Management of various license renewal.

Manage, prepare, organize, and handle all sorts of companies TAX and VAT documents & Joint-stock documents, TAX-VAT reports and statements. Monitor monthly TDS deduction from the applicable heads of accounts and deposit to the Govt. treasury. Ensure proper documentation, control and maintain necessary records with respect to income tax-related issues, TDS, AIT & other hearing-related documents. Prepare the TAX & VAT accounts and submit the TAX & VAT return in timely manner. Also process, prepare and submit the yearly individual Tax returns;

Assess the current accounting practices and procedures & system and make recommendations for improvements. Formulation and review the finance and accounts procedure manual & Design Chart of Accounts and develop reporting-forms for general as well as management required. Manage the interim and annual external financial audits. Work with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at year-end. Manage and ensure fixed asset and inventory recording system and control their movements. Lead, motivate and develop Finance team. to deliver required services according to set objectives and company values/competencies. Identify areas of inefficiencies, cost control, cost savings and cost reductions.
